Same Keynote as Presented on August 12. Students that have experienced trauma are coming to our schools in record numbers. Our hearts bleed for these kids, but empathy is not enough. We still have to set the bar high and help all students to reach their potential. Current research, data, and many strategies will be shared with participants. Several real world case studies will be discussed and reviewed. Participants will leave with tools that they can implement right away.
Dr. Bryan Pearlman is a veteran educator with experience as a teacher, administrator, and adjunct professor. He is the founder and head trainer for Most Valuable Professional Development, LLC, and also a co-founder and board member of the non-profit Distinguished School of Mental Health & Wellness (
DSMHW.org). His expertise is helping all children to succeed, challenging behaviors, and trauma. Dr. Pearlman has presented to over 20,000 educators in the past two years. Dr. Pearlman is a published author and has written several articles that connect educational struggles with underlying mental health related items .
